Creation of outdoor living space that included a covered patio with an outdoor kitchen boasting a pizza oven and BBQ
The homeowners loved spending time outside, but their existing outdoor kitchen just wasn’t holding up. Every time it rained, water would find its way in and start ruining the space they had hoped to enjoy. What they really wanted was a covered patio that felt like it had always been there—something solid, well-built, and seamless with the rest of their home, so they could enjoy the outdoors without worrying about the weather.
One of the biggest challenges was figuring out how to add a covered patio that looked original to the home. The homeowners originally wanted a fully framed structure to match the house, but the existing rooflines made that a real puzzle. To complicate things further, the roof was covered in solar panels—relocating them would’ve been expensive, and there weren’t many viable places to move them. We had to get creative to design a solution that worked around those constraints while still giving the homeowners the seamless, protected outdoor space they were hoping for.
